Access’ Design for Annual Report Wins National Award

Roanoke, Va. (March 10, 2011) – Access Advertising & Public Relations’ Creative Director, Kris Bailey, designed the Foundation for Roanoke Valley’s 2010 Annual Report – “Back to Basics,” which won the top spot – Gold Award – nationally for annual reports in the category of Community Foundations and Public Foundations with $21 to $100 Million in Assets in the Council on Foundations Wilmer Shields Rich Awards for Excellence in Communications.

Foundation for Roanoke Valley will be recognized at a special ceremony during COF’s annual meeting in April in Philadelphia, Pa.

The Wilmer Shields Rich Awards Program recognizes and encourages excellence in communications by foundations and corporate giving programs. The program seeks to educate the field of organized philanthropy about creative and strategic communications.

The Council on Foundations is a national nonprofit association of approximately 2,000 grant-making foundations and corporations.
